‘Super computer’ predicts final 2018/19 Premier League table after 7 games of the new season

After seven games of the new Premier League season, talkSPORT’s ‘super computer’ has predicted where every team will finish come May next year – with them currently having Newcastle to be relegated in 18th place.

Their super computer results initially had us down to finish 15th when their projected table was initially released at the beginning of September, however home defeats to Arsenal and Leicester and an away draw at Palace have got them predicitng relegation.

They have Cardiff in second bottom and Huddersfield bottom of the pile, with Southampton (17th), Fulham (16th) and Brighton (15th) they three sides they’re expecting to narrowly avoid relegation.

  1. Man City
  2. Liverpool
  3. Chelsea
  4. Tottenham
  5. Arsenal
  6. Man Utd
  7. Leicester
  8. Watford
  9. Bournemouth
  10. Everton
  11. Wolves
  12. West Ham
  13. Burnley
  14. Crystal Palace
  15. Brighton
  16. Fulham
  17. Southampton
  18. Newcastle
  19. Cardiff
  20. Huddersfield

It goes without saying, but we’ll take this with a complete pinch of salt – with their projection last month having West Ham to go down in 18th place after their poor start to the season (yet they’re now up to 12th after a few great results since then).

Where do you see us finishing this season folks? Do you genuinely believe we’ll go down – or is it too early to panic?
