Mike Ashley involved in ‘row’ with club chiefs – More proof he’s not fit to own a football club

Mike Ashley is causing bother once again in the world of football, with the NUFC owner now involved in yet another merchandise deal row with Rangers chiefs – just three months after they were told by a High Court judge to ‘make peace’.

The blame may lie with both parties here, but this is yet another example of the continual problems that come with Mike Ashley.

It’s not going too well for him at the moment. Us fans are on his back with protests only getting started, his Sports Direct shares are plummeting and there’s now yet another dispute he’s involved in at Rangers.

Ashley is accusing Rangers of a ‘breach of contract’, with him not being happy that the club are looking to work with a ‘third party’ after they agreed to sell their replica shirts at Sports Direct.

So, in short, Mike is worried that a competitor may be stealing in ahead of him and threatening how much money he can make from Rangers.

More proof that Ashley is only interested in money – with him clearly not phased about upsetting a club if it supports his agenda.

Sounds familiar doesn’t it..

  1. No, I think he wants to be held up as a hero…
He really should have bought a club like Sunderland, joking aside they would have appreciated the fact he would keep them stable in return for free advertising.

Newcastle, like Rangers are institutions where the morale standards are as important as what happens on the pitch.

  2. Ashley bishop and Barnes were chased out of glasgow after they took millions from glasgow rangers. Ashley is a liar and he pays the other 2 creeps to lie for him. We boycotted the club merchandise and wore old strips and protested inside and outside the ground. Ashley also turned our club shop in to sports direct shop. There are no more sports direct advertising at our ground and we don’t want him to get another penny from our merchandise… he keeps taking our club to court with his fancy lawyers…. Good luck newcastle Ashley bishop and Barnes are total scum
