Huddersfield have been dealt a huge blow ahead of our trip to the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday, with star man Aaron Mooy ruled out of the game.
The Australian midfielder is undoubtedly their most influential player, playing a huge part in their recent turnaround in form.
Not only will he miss Saturday’s game, he’s also expected to miss up to 6 weeks of action – with him now ruled out of next month’s Asian Cup (an international competition Ki and Muto could yet take place in).
He’s not the only Huddersfield player who looks set to miss out either.
Full-back Tommy Smith is out, holding midfielder Jonathan Hogg is a doubt and record signing Terence Kongolo could also miss out after picking up a ‘knock’ at Arsenal over the weekend:
The bad news is we have Yedlin suspended, with Fernandez also an early doubt after limping off at half time on Saturday, however they really are going to be up against it without their star player and midfield duo.
What have we come to when we celebrate the injury of a Huddersfield player to enable us to compete…
