According to an exclusive from Football Insider’s Peter O’Rourke, Newcastle are trying to sign talented Tottenham left-back Jaden Brown – and will make an offer to sign him next month.
The story states that Rangers are hoping to beat both ourselves and Huddersfield to the signature of the 19-year-old, however it sounds like he’s another player we are looking at in a bid to bolster our U-23’s.
Brown has represented England at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels, but Spurs are at risk of losing him with his contract due to expire next summer.
The story states that both we, Rangers and Huddersfield will make offers to sign him in the new year, with him expected to leave in search of more first-team opportunities.
