NUFC fans will absolutely love what Rolando Aarons has just done – This really is brilliant..

Things may not have been going well for Rolando Aarons over the past year, but the winger has just made a few people’s Christmas – with him spontaneously paying for customers Xmas shopping in Tesco and handing bags of food to the homeless.

The 23-year-old has only just returned from a pretty unsuccessful loan spell with Czech side Slovan Liberec, however he’s wasted no time getting into the festive spirit since arriving back in the UK.

Here’s what he posted on social media just before he headed to a nearby Tesco in his home town of Bristol:

“I know how expensive Christmas can get for everyone so that’s why I am going to pay for a few customers’ Christmas shopping at Tesco Eastville Bristol later today at random. See whoever there!”

Fair play to Aarons for this. After failing to be included in Rafa’s Premier League squad and struggling to make any impact during recent loan spells in Italy and the Czech Republic it would’ve been easy for him to sulk.

Wouldn’t it be nice to see more players doing this over the festive period.

Good on you Rolando!

  1. Stop givjng that ASHLEY arselicker WISE air time, all he does is LIE through his teeth.
Total waste of the small space he takes up,
Just another bully boy like his mate.
Should stick him back in the jungle and leave him there.

  2. Allan – Not sure where in that article they even mention Wise or Ashley, but it’s always nice to know which side of fence you’re on

  3. Appalling attempt at self promotion by Aarons, not to mention the advertising for Tesco.

It’s not a good deed when you advertise it in advance, post photographs or videos. It reeks of “look at me !”

Things like this only work for me if they are done on the QT, even anonymously, and you read about them in the paper the following day.

As it’s Bristol he could have easily done this anonymously – just turn up, chat to the store manager and hey presto. Nobody there would know him.

THis is just an attempt to try to recover his reputation.
