NUFC make loan bid for PSG talent – but it’s already been knocked back – Report

According to French outlet RMC, Newcastle have had a loan bid rejected for PSG left-back Stanley N’Soki.

This is a name many Newcastle fans will be familiar with, having seen us strongly linked with a move to sign the 19-year-old Frenchman on a permanent deal over the summer.

A deal never materialised (classic Newcastle) and the player has since signed a new deal with the Ligue 1 champions – however there was talk he could be loaned out this month after he’s struggled to game time.

It would be no surprise if we have made a loan bid – with Sky and the Chronicle confirming our interest in N’Soki this month and us now in desperate need of a left-back after the Lukaku deal fell through – but it seems PSG aren’t willing to let him leave.

With Sky Italy claiming last night that we were now back in talks to get Monaco’s Antionio Barreca on loan, it’s now looking increasingly likely that he is the left-back Benitez will land between now and next Thursday.

Yet another window where we’ll be leaving it late and signing ‘targets’ way down Rafa’s list? It looks that way..

  1. Forget this. It is Sunday and NUFC management are not working. Talk to me Tuesday.
