Sky Sports confirm NUFC trio are ‘on the verge’ of late loan moves – Incomings possible but ‘unlikely’

Sky Sports’ Keith Downie has confirmed that NUFC trio Jacob Murphy, Rolando Aarons and Achraf Lazaar are all ‘on the verge’ of leaving the club on loan.

Murphy is set to join West Brom on loan until the end of the season, while Aarons and Lazaar look set to join Steve Bruce at Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday.

Sky’s Pete Graves has also refused to rule out the signing of ONE more player with 2 hours of the window remaining.

The Chronicle have also stated that the club “remain alive to incoming business”, but Mark Douglas admits it looks ‘highly unlikely now’ that another player before 11pm.

It’s now being suggested that Almiron’s ability to play out wide will allow Murphy to leave without a replacement arriving, but it seems Rafa is STILL working on last minute deals – despite it seeming a real long shot at this stage.
