Super computer predicts final Premier League table – Interesting results emerge for NUFC..

TalkSport have used a ‘super computer’ to predict the final league standings at the end of the season – and they’ve placed Newcastle in a worryingly low position.

According to the super computer, which generates expected results from now until the end of the season, we will finish in 17th place – having us down to narrowly escape relegation ahead of Cardiff, Fulham and Huddersfield.

Here’s the table in full:

  1. Manchester City
  2. Liverpool
  3. Spurs
  4. Chelsea
  5. Man Utd
  6. Arsenal
  7. Wolves
  8. Watford
  9. Leicester
  10. Bournemouth
  11. West Ham
  12. Everton
  13. Brighton
  14. Burnley
  15. Crystal Palace
  16. Southampton
  17. Newcastle
  18. Cardiff
  19. Fulham
  20. Huddersfield

I’m sure many fans would take this position at the end of the season simply because we would avoid relegation – something that really did look on the cards just a few weeks ago.

Something tells me that Cardiff will have an upturn in results , particularly sparked by the tragic events regarding Emiliano Sala.

I think Southampton ,Burnley  and Palace all have enough to survive so I don’t think the prediction that sees them placed just above ourselves will be too far wrong.

As we all know, football is very unpredictable , and no doubt there will be some weird and wonderful results to come yet.

Hopefully TalkSPORT have underestimated us – especially when the arrival of Almiron could yet give us a huge boost up top.
