Shocking new footage emerges of Liverpool fan punching NUFC supporter inside SJP – Disgraceful

Some disgraceful footage has emerged from Saturday night’s game at St James’, showing a Liverpool fan throw punches at a Newcastle supporter after being pointed out to stewards.

Just about everyone inside the ground would’ve realised just how many Reds had snuck their way into he home end over the weekend (they weren’t shy in celebrating!), but some of the footage that’s emerged since just shows how poorly so many of them behaved.

Several Liverpool fans were dotted around the HOME end, with some in the Gallowgate and the majority in the hospitality section of the Milburn, but they overstepped the mark.

Here’s one shocking bit of footage recorded in the Milburn, showing a Liverpool fan throw TWO punches as a Newcastle fan after being pointed out to both police and stewards by members of the home support:

It was a brilliant game, but one that was almost marred by some of the antics both inside and outside of St James’ Park.

The club have a lot to say for themselves too. They have insisted in a post-match club statement that fans of BOTH clubs are allowed in the hospitality section of St James’ Park (midway up the Milburn stand), however they state that away fans must behave appropriately otherwise face ejection. Were many ejected? No – yet they were behaving anything but appropriately.

Disgraceful stuff from certain Liverpool fans and incredible hypocrisy from the club, who warned Newcastle fans against selling tickets to Liverpool fans yet allowed them to take over the Milburn.

  1. Just shows how far Cashley will go to make a buck, then, blames our fans when the problems arise.

  2. This should never have occurred in the first place. You cannot mix both sets of fans in the home stand . Even in the function suite. I do agree that some Liverpool fans behaviour was disgraceful. Unfortunately Liverpool fans do cause trouble. It could have sparked a massive brawl and riot. Ban them from entering with the home fans.
