Sky Sports – Everton make move to sign ex-NUFC striker

According to Sky Sports, Everton are now ‘very interested’ in signing Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer.

It’s reported that the Serbian is ‘high’ on Marco Silva’s list of targets and is keen to be playing Premier League football once again next season.

Fulham are believed to be desperate to keep the former Newcastle United striker ahead of their bid to earn automatic promotion back to the top flight next season, however it seems they face a huge task keeping onto their 2018/19 top scorer.

Mitrovic has struggled since the turn of the year, scoring just a handful of goals following his stunning start to the season, but did finish the campaign with a respectable tally of 11 goals in 37 appearances.

The likes of Brighton, West Ham and Southampton have been linked with moves for the 24-year-old this summer, but it looks like Everton are the first side to register concrete interest if Sky Sports are to be believed.
