Newcastle are one of several clubs keen to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson according to Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a superb season away from Anfield, bagging 18 goals and 6 assists during a loan spell with Derby, and it’s claimed that ourselves, Southampton and Brighton are keen to sign him this summer.
He’s a talented young player who’s looked far too good for the Championship this season, scoring several long-range wonder goals, but claims that the Reds have slapped a £25m asking price on his head could be a problem:
It goes without saying that any transfers will have to wait until Rafa Benitez’s future is sorted out, but Wilson is the type of player you’d expect us to be linked with given Ashley’s policy asks for young, talented players with high potential (sell on value!).
Could he be a player we’re considering should Ayoze Perez complete a big money move away this summer? Time will tell.
