Sheikh Khaled now closing in on a NUFC takeover? – See intriguing new details here

Some highly intriguing information has been shared online this afternoon, and it suggests Sheikh Khaled may well be closing in on a takeover at Newcastle United.

As revealed below, a new acquisition company called “Monochrome Acquisition Limited” has been set up today – and it’s two directors are Sheikh Khaled and Midhat Kidwai (the Managing director of the Bin Zayed Group). But wait, there’s more to it than that.

Not only does ‘Monochrome’ mean ‘black and white’, it’s also been confirmed that the company has been registered to ‘Pinsent Masons LLP’ – the address of Mike Ashley’s law firm of choice:

The Chronicle’s Mark Douglas has also done little to play down the significance of this latest development, with many believing this could now be a vehicle to complete a takeover at St James’ Park.

The ‘Geordie Dentist’ – a Dubai-based writer who’s published several pieces for the Chronicle – has also weighed in with this, adding more fuel to the fire:

Time will tell as to what this actually means with regards to a potential takeover, but this certainly seems significant.

Here’s hoping we hear more concrete news from the club soon – although I wouldn’t hold your breath on them speaking out!
