Alan Shearer’s issues brutal response to the club’s new transfer claims – This says it all..

Alan Shearer has laughed off the club’s claims that all the money received for Ayoze Perez’s exit will be put back into the new manager’s transfer kitty.

Newcastle (Mike Ashley) look set to gain £30m for the Spaniard ahead of his big-money move to Leicester City today, but Shearer has issued a brutal response to the Chronicle’s Lee Ryder – who claims all the money will be put back into the club this summer.

Sadly, this sums up our expectations of Mike Ashley when it comes to reinvestment.

This is a man who sold Andy Carroll for £35m and signed Shefki Kuqi on a free. A man who sold Mitrovic for £22m but could only give Rafa Rondon on loan – refusing to pay his £16.5m release clause.

Quite incredibly, the Daily Star are also claiming that ‘club sources’ have indicated that any new manager will receive around £100m to spend this summer following Ayoze Perez’s sale.

I don’t believe this for a second, but, at the same time, I wouldn’t put it past Ashley to tell Rafa’s he has £50m to spend then offer double that to Steve Bruce just a few weeks later.
