£11m deal set to be decided in ‘next 24 hours’ as NUFC receive transfer ultimatum – Report

According to the Chronicle, their sources in France have told them that Newcastle have been pushed to make a decision on deal for Stanley N’Soki TODAY.

It was confirmed over the weekend that we’d agreed a fee in the region of £10-£11m for the PSG full-back, however no breakthrough has arrived as of yet following contract talks between the two parties.

As the Chronicle state below, there is ‘hope’ from our end that a deal will be concluded, with N’Soki keen to sign, but with time ticking it seems he wants know if a deal will be done in the ‘next 24 hours’:

A decision over the future of Stanley Nsoki is expected today according to sources in France.

Newcastle United are reported to have been in discussions to take the PSG full-back in a deal worth in the region of €12 million.

The club remain tight-lipped on any talks but sources have told Chronicle Live there is hope of a positive deal being concluded for the 20-year-old.

It has been reiterated that the player is keen to join the the Magpies , and the player’s demands are with the club.

However, it is understood that a decision on a contract is wanted within the next 24 hours, so to allow Nsoki to find another club should the move to Newcastle fall through.

It is said that Nsoki is happy with the chance to develop his career with Newcastle, to work with Steve Bruce and to play for fans well known for their passion.

So, a fee has been agreed, the player is keen to join and has sent his contract demands to the club, therefore the ball is well and truly in our court here.

Providing his salary demands are not excessive, this should be an easy deal to complete – yet we seem to be allowing it to drag on, just as we are regarding a move for Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin.

With just a week until the window closes, the time for haggling is over.

No excuses. Time to get this deal done.

  1. more deliberate ***** footing around by those at the top –
utter embarrassment, that a club that regularly fills it’s stadium,
sells astronomical amounts of official merchandise and benefits from the richest of the SkyTV money is acting like it hasn’t got a penny to scratch it’s *** with!!
Strange, how all transfer activity stalled after SD results were published and the Belgian tax bill came to light!!!!!!
NUFC to (yet again) help SD???
