No money to spend on the training ground?

Further to Lee Charnley’s recent statement in respect to upgrading training ground facilities and funds being better used spent on players in order to preserve our Premier League status – and of course retain its high revenue income.

In respect to the notification on upgrading hospitality areas (see below), based on his stated financial spend strategy, would it not also be prudent not to spend money upgrading hospitality areas (which were better than most Premier League clubs and totally adequate) and use this cash towards buying more players, or improving the training ground facilities?

Like Mike Ashley,  Lee Charnley if they do decide to communicate always gives a “spiel” of untruthful explanations for the decisions they have made. They have not upgraded the training ground facilities as he does not see any financial gain. Like most accountants he will understand basics for example: if you buy something for £50 and sell it for £100 then the light in their heads goes on! Furthermore, spending company money on staff training, marketing, etc where it is difficult for them to calculate and understand what financial return they will achieve on these parts of the business, then no light goes on in their heads!

Rafa Benitez can tell probably explain the many benefits of upgrading NUFC’s training facilities and these would include the financial benefits, however, the Directors of NUFC did not want to listen to his advice so they gladly let him leave!

NUFC Directors authorising spend on training facilities falls into the above, it has NOTHING at all to do with using the money to spend on players….as always Enid Blyton stuff from the NUFC Directors.

Why do we keep hearing about the Directors spend this summer of £61 million they sold players for a value over £30 million so they have spent less than £30 million ……therefore, NUFC do have cash available!

In conclusion, Lee Charnley is a “stereo type accountant” he is NOT a qualified Managing Director!

It is my opinion that he lacks many important skills required to be an effective Managing Director. He demonstrates no leadership skills, he is a poor communicator, he lacks people skills (you would not want to go to Amsterdam with him for a weekend) he does not have any entrepreneurial feel for a business….and finally of course he is not always truthful, and therefore cannot be trusted!

  1. Looks like Penfold cannot afford a razor, either, unless he’s become a hipster. What a tramp.
So our training facilities, academy and SJP are allowed to deteriorate, falling behind other PL clubs, in terms of SJP falling into ruin. How many more years will this continue?

    🙁 🙁 🙁
