Watch NUFC talent score 25-yard stunner in front of Steve Bruce as U-23’s win again

Steve Bruce was at Whitley Park on Monday night to watch the U-23’s in action, and one player who may have caught his eye is Rosaire Longelo.

The 19-year-old winger – who arrived from West Ham last summer – curled a brilliant 25-yard effort into the top corner to give us 1-0 lead, scoring the first goal in what was to be a five-goal thriller against Norwich.

Watch it here:

Luke Charman got himself on the scoresheet once again, Tom Allan bagged his third goal in as many games and midfield duo Mo Sangare and Jack Young were impressive in midfield, but Longelo will have caught Bruce’s eye with this brilliant strike.

Neil Redfearn’s U-23’s endured a difficult start to the season, losing their first three games of their PL 2 campaign (and two of those were 6-0 and 4-0 defeats!), but they appear to have steadied the ship with wins over Fulham and Norwich in our last two.
