NUFC star sends brilliant message to Joelinton after West Ham win – A touch of class..

Magpies striker Andy Carroll has hailed the performance of team-mate Joelinton following Newcastle’s impressive 3-2 away win at West Ham.

Joelinton, who headed across goal to assist Clark for our early opener, has received real credit for his all round display at the London Stadium after enduring heavy criticism in recent weeks.

And fellow striker Carroll, who is regarded as a direct rival for Joelinton’s position in the Newcastle side, has taken to social media to praise the Brazilian’s performance.

Here is what Big Andy had to say on Instagram:

“When the striker plays well the team plays well!!

“No goal, 1 assist. Massive performance from the big man!!”

Joelinton’s all round game was excellent against West Ham, and the £40million signing also received praise on Match of the Day from club legend Alan Shearer.

Newcastle were consistently threatening on the attack throughout a game for the first time this season, it’s just a shame that none of our new forward line managed to get on the score-sheet.

Joelinton, Saint- Maximin and Almiron are all in desperate need of a goal, but an assist for the Brazilian and a much improved display from our two wide men will give them a massive confidence boost ahead of Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth.

Let’s hope our new number 9 can get his first goal for the club in front of the home supporters at St James’ Park this weekend.
