Another outstanding Saint-Maximin stat emerges – & surprise NUFC player isn’t far behind

If his outstanding dribbling statistics weren’t enough, it’s now emerged that Allan Saint-Maximin’s chance creation numbers are also very impressive.

This comes from Twitter page ‘The Other 14” (which is worth a follow), revealing that only Jack Grealish has created more chances per 90 minutes from all fourteen Premier League clubs outside the ‘big six’.

As their table shows below, Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu is also surprisingly high on their list, creating 9 chances when he’s featured this season:

As the stats show above, the electric Frenchman has created an average of 2.05 big chances per 90 minutes played this season – numbers which have only been bettered by ONE player outside of Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal.

Add to this the fact he’s been statistically Europe’s best dribbler this season, it makes you realise what an exciting talent we’ve got on our hands!

It’s also worth pointing out how good our results have been when he’s started and how poor they’ve been when he’s not.

He may not have scored yet, but these stats say it all:

NUFC results when he’s not started:

Played 6, Won 0, Drawn 2, Lost 4, Points – 2 , Goals For – 3, Goals Against – 13

NUFC results when he’s started:

Played 6, Won 4, Drawn 1, Lost 1, Points – 13, Goals For – 8, Goals Against – 5.
