Newcastle duo Fabian Schar and Isaac Hayden have been two of the best players outside the ‘top 6’ this season when it comes to tackles and interceptions.

As revealed below, Schar makes an average of 4.98 tackles and interceptions per 90 minutes (leaving him 11th), while Hayden makes an average of 4.95 (13th):
The stats show that Schar is our top intercepter, making 22 to Hayden’s 16, however the latter is our top tackler statistically, completing 26 to the Swiss international’s 22.
That said, Jetro Willems’ surprisingly impressive tackling numbers are highlighted by another report by the Other 14 below, with him being 10th with a 73% success rate:
