Alan Shearer has named Martin Dubravka in his Premier League Team of the Week – a well deserved reward for the Slovakian’s brilliant form of late.

Without his key save to deny Sterling late on, his first half masterclass at Bramall Lane and his double-save to keep out Redmond on Sunday, we would’ve come out of our last few games with a couple of points – not 7.

His goal wasn’t peppered on Sunday, with Southampton failing to create a huge amount of chances, however he stepped up and made vital saves whenever he was called upon.
That’s been a theme in recent weeks, with him stepping up to the plate in key moments on a regular basis – and that’s all you can ask for from your number one.
