NUFC Blog prides itself on the number of comments it receives. To us it’s a sign of success that our aim of creating a vibrant community is actually working.
However, it’s not a free for all and some ground rules need to be established to prevent things from getting out of hand. We can all get carried away at times, but I’d ask you all to observe these simple rules before you post a comment.
1) Racist comments, or posts containing anything that could be construed as being racist will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will be removed as soon as is practically possible, without notice and without a reason being given.
2) Posts containing anything that could be construed as libel could also be removed without notice and without reason. Please remember that anything libel will ultimately be the responsibility of yourself and not NUFC Blog.
3) Offensive/Bullying comments will not be tolerated. Chill out. It’s a ‘blog. Disagree by all means, but remember that everybody has the right to express their opinion. If you don’t like it and want to launch into a tirade of abuse, personal or otherwise, then stop, have a think, breath, and try again. Be objective, not obnoxious.
4) The use of swear words is something that will happen from time to time. It’s not prohibited, but users are encouraged not to overuse foul and abusive language. Persistent swearing will not be tolerated however and comments are liable for removal should they be deemed as too ‘over the top’ by any of the administration team.
These rules are not exhaustive and are much the same as you will find on any other NUFC Blog. Please keep in mind that by using the site you are agreeing to these rules and must abide by them at all times. Failure to adhere to them may result in your dismissal from the site, but that will always be the last resort.
