Remy Cabella stuns NUFC fans with Champions League goal vs Chelsea – Watch it here

Believe it or not, Newcastle United flop Remy Cabella scored against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League last night!

In a year full of things we thought we’d never see, the man who scored just once in a black and white shirt struck in the 24th minute to give Russian side Krasnodar an unlikely lead.

Here’s the goal itself, seeing the 30-year-old fire past Kepa in front of Blues fans at the Bridge:

The game ended 1-1 after Jorginho equalised, but caps off a surprisingly impressive start to the season for the 30-year-old, with him bagging eight goals and two assists so far following a €12m move from Saint-Etienne last summer.

Funnily enough, I remember one of Cabella’s only good games for us coming at Stamford Bridge mid-way through the 2014/15 season.

As you can see below, he caused Chelsea’s back line all sorts of problems in his last game against the Blues back in January 2015:

  1. Is there anyone who sits in the 1892 club LL2D or LL2B and is an OAP (over 65) on the 10 year deal – I have now reached that age and trying to work out what I will pay for coming season – I think this may be the last of the 10 year deal price reduction as well. Always thought it was a 25% reduction for OAP but club claiming it can be upto that but say its probably 10% ! Anyone give me a clue what they pay please
