Game on! Wolves v Newcastle – Toon unchanged, Santon on bench

Toon head to Molineux
Welcome one and all to our fabulous ‘Game On’ match article which this week will take us through every twist and turn of the match at Wolves.

After this game we head into yet another pointless and frustrating international break so it’s important that we get a good result to send us away happy. To me a good result includes anything from a draw upwards.

the match preview is here should you wish to have another read of it. It features likely team line-ups, injury news for both sides as well as some rather interesting stats and facts regarding the match today and matches previously between the two sides.

In terms of TV coverage, being a 3pm kick-off means that the majority of the world will be able to watch it on nice TV’s whilst us here in the UK will have to try and settle for a dodgy internet stream. Still, it’s one of those things, but if you manage to find a decent dodgy internet stream then please share it with the rest of the lads and lasses on NUFC Blog .

Team news is featured below which just just about wraps this short and sweet article up. One final thing though, we have a running from a new server so I could do with this article staying busy with lots of comments and such. Call it stress testing if you like, but lets see what it can do. Fingers crossed we’ll be online a lot more from now on.

Howay the lads!

  1. Wolves having too much of the ball for my liking. Their fans are on the verge of turning and if we frustrate them we’ll kill the game

  4. Lovo looks like he’s playing deeper. Like an extra man in midfield. I think that’s why he is on

  5. Dave – You reckon? I think individual mistakes on our part are plying a bigger part in their pressure.

“Toonsy – problem is – he’s *****. Marveaux instead please”

Hmm I think the bigger problem is that neither you or i are the manager 😆

  7. Last year, at no stage did we go 10 points clear of the relegation places, we may do it this after 7 games – that tells a tale. Amazing. Great. 😎

  8. Riding our luck this half…Always knew they would give us a hard time though, so if we hold on then it’s a great outcome.

  9. Toonsy @ 195 and we dont see them everyday in training, I wont start to question his decisions now as he has done well for us so far this season 😉

  10. Every game requires different type of player.

This game, there is no need for any flair or excellent players.

Decent players would be enough. 😉
