Enter our new competition NOW!

Keep warm this winter!
NUFC Blog has teamed up with Savile Rogue to give you the chance to win one of the world’s finest cashmere football scarves.

Why not enter our competition to be in with a chance of winning one if these for yourselves, in the famous black and white stripes of course!

Savile Rogue scarves give a nod to football terraces of yesteryear, shunning in-your-face logos and cheap nylon in favour of a traditional bar design and the comfort, quality and warmth of top grade wool. Put simply, it’s the sort of scarf you would be happy to wear even when you’re not at the match!

To have a look at the prize simply click here and if you wish to be in with a chance of winning it simply answer this question:

Four players have won the PFA Young Player of the Year award while playing for Newcastle United. Name them.

Entries will only be accepted from users who are registered with the site. If you aren’t registered then you won’t win. But don’t fret, registration takes seconds to do so you can enter in no time and be in with a chance if winning the prize.

To enter simply send an e-mail to competition@nufcblog.co.uk with your registered username in the subject line and your answers in the main message body. Usernames will be checked so no funny business!

The winner will be announced next Wednesday, 19th October.

In the event of a tie I’ll put all of the winners in a hat (I do have some cracking hats!) and make the Mrs pick one out. Or I’ll get my mystic dog to choose a winner by seeing which bit of paper she licks first or something like that.

Entries are accepted from the world over so don’t worry about postage or anything like that. It’s all sorted. Just get entering!

If you are unfortunate and don’t manage to win then don’t despair. You can still buy one for yourself or as a Christmas present for someone with a Β£5 discount valid until 1/11/11. Simply enter TOON when prompted for a code at the checkout.

You can follow Savile Rogue on Twitter or Facebook by clicking either of the blue hyperlinks which will take you to the relevant page.

Best of luck!

  1. Hmmm. I’m wondering if Steve Wraith would be interested? Perhaps rather than going alone we could get something together from several sites?

  2. Dan – I have a great tactic for some. I’ll get our side to wear Hughton masks so they all bow down and worship whilst we dribble through πŸ˜†

Mourinho has nothing on me πŸ˜‰

  3. Toonsy πŸ˜†

Imagine a footy match between the two ‘blogs, it would be feisty to say the least πŸ˜†

  4. Dan: I think it would be very very feisty, game could get abandoned due to one team getting too many players sent off!

  5. Witters – I remember one time we had a charity pub game that ended up with five people in hospital with broken this that and the other πŸ˜†

  6. ZOE aye you stick to playing and writeing, have nowt to do with the physio side off it,we would have owr many injurys game would tak hours πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€

  7. We still talking about the game? I might stick a sly one on bobby if he’s still around under any name.

On this scarf, it looks so nice like, might invest if I don’t get it.

  8. And the only headline would be- “Spencer shares his scoring shoes with 5 goals and 5 assists” πŸ˜‰

  12. Evening Spencer .. Evening Big Dave ……. when are we going to see Santoon – i reckon sunday shud be the big day, but thinking we me heeeead pards will play safe (ie, not change a winning team) against spudz with raylor and then we’ll see santoon next game against wiggggerz ..

  13. Ohh I got a special evening, I feel flattered πŸ˜‰

If we win saturday, I will start dreaming of cold nights at SJP hosting UEFA cup football πŸ˜›

  14. TP it’s a hard one mate because he could be damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t, if he changes and we get beat there will be ones saying it was his fault for changing an unbeat side. Or if he sticks with the team and Raylor mucks up the samething happens.
I would like to see Santon get a start

  15. Would like to see Raylor ripped to shreds rather than Santon.

Santon and Ben Arfa to start against Wigan hopefully.
