  1. I can’t believe this. Still nobody. Other clubs have signed 50 players and our guys go to sleep at night. Absolutely fizzin.

  2. Vegas, we signed that young 16 year french lad, so please calm down 😉 some people are hard to please… 😯

  3. I actually find it staggering that Troys fizzing has not brought in more top players sooner and ultimately, Kinnears sacking 😯
Maybe if I had fizzed as well and not just stood idly by, things may have been different… 😕
    😆 😆 😆

  4. A young French lad. Is that all? Next you’ll be saying that a couple of guys we brought in in January are part of this window! I’m freakin’ out, man. The window’s about to close and all Ashley does is pocket the money we haven’t got from the tv deal. All he cares about is Sports Direct. He just tosses us a few hundred million quid every now and then because he doesn’t care about this club.

And you just stand by and do nothing! I’m not surprised Troy fizzes so much. You probably did nothing about the 100 years war as well, and what are you doing about the Middle East question? Nothing, I’ll bet.

Oh for the good old days when we stood ankle deep in **** in the Leazes end bogs and moaned about the pirate who ran the club. Of course we didn’t have the internet then and couldn’t whinge all day.

I could go on. I could go on. But why bother. All the best players are leaving, just like they did last window and the one before that and the one before that, and the one before that. We’re going down, I tell you. We’re doomed. There’s no ambition at this club, not like the good old days when we rarely got above 15th and spent a lot of time in division 2.

We’ll never get anywhere with Ashley in charge.

Right, I’ve had my fizz. That should fix it… What? Still nobody signed? Un-fekkin-believable!

      (Quote)

  5. Troy, what are your facebook details mate?

I want to make sure your not on my list of contacts as well! 😆 😆

      (Quote)

  6. Ankle deep in **** in the Leazes(Gallowgate for me, I’m obviously younger 😉 ) we’re the “good old” days imo, no expectations, no money, no facilities, just the love of NUFC and only the hardcore fans there, Happy days…if you blot the violence and racism out of mind of course 😆

      (Quote)

  7. Ankle deep in **** – no expectations, no money, no facilities 😯 Sounds like a night on the grog at Richies place 😆 😆 😆
(note I left the violence and racism out 😎 )

  8. DONT BUY STRIKER PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS……BRING ON ADAM CAMPBELL AND HARIS VUCKIC……………WE NEED DEFENDER

  9. Strolla set to be done away with too I see… I know he was a bag of **** but he’s better than a cardboard cut out sat on the bench.

I think we’re the only club in the country who hasn’t signed anyone.

Can anyone really say Mikey Ashley has us running like a smoothly oiled machine? I noticed they were all giving it the big ones about how well run we were when we finished 5th but lets be honest it’s happened once in 7 years. One good season out of 7? Give me a break!

      (Quote)

  10. Joe meeting with Parsnip today then ,the resurrection of the Dinosaurs and all their Jurassic ways will soon be in motion. Bent and Cole probably lined up as I type .Can’t wait to see Bent on the wing and Cole at RB 🙄 nice to know what safe hands we’re in eh.

      (Quote)

  11. Stuart

I’m sure Aussie will tell you how well Mikey has the toon machine well oiled. 😛

    Oh dear Aussie. 😳 😛

      (Quote)

  12. Begas just doesn’t see things until it smacks him bang in the face. 😛

The pair of them make me chortle like chortle thing who’s a reet chortler! 😆

      (Quote)

  13. Sham – you can’t bring a player on if he’s injured – as Vukic has been for alot of him toon career so far mate. We need CFs in because we NEED goals. Yes we could do with strengthening our defence but priority is CF then Width then GK then CB then CMF.

      (Quote)

  14. Kim – haha Pardew has annoyed me like with recent comments about Tiote, and where to play Sissoko.

But interestingly, I would get rid of Shola and bring in Carlton Cole/Di Santo as his replacement as 4th choice if they’re happy about it, as long as it doesn’t change the plan that we already need 2 strikers before anyone else leaves.

See the Chron reporting Debuchy and Cabaye were with Cisse in the gym, I supposed that means it’s probably fitness related then, there is obv something in the Cisse/Wonga story though, would make sense if we get Bent because Cisse is off ? They’re two similar to play together so I think they’re is more to come from this like

One last thing, Who the f**k do these @NUFCfans think they are on Twitter, starting a debate off about “Overrated” players and basically slagging Cabaye off? ? Then had the temerity to argue against the proper fans who realise he is our best player by a Country mile……………

Sometimes I read NUFC fans who say things about players, even non-NUFC players and god you sound like a right whopper…..

      (Quote)

  15. I just really don’t understand what the hold up is personally. Pards said last week that Remy and Bent are on there list – so why have we not signed at least 1 of them yet?
Norwich identified Redmond and Fer as targets, both brought in within the week.

I thought things were meant to be different with JFK at the helm but it seems we’re going to make signing players as equally difficult as when DL was responsible. That would suggest that MA is the problem to me.

      (Quote)

  16. Sharpy it’s all too simple. JFK has been on holiday. We’re after 2 players max and there’s no hurry as we know who they are and nobody else wants them. We only sign players who have injury/fitness doubts, release clauses or are trouble. The stuff that we think should happen is just not on their landscape.

      (Quote)

  17. Georgio, do you know people within the club or is your summation based on what the press is reporting? 😉
As Bon Jovi says, keep the faith!

      (Quote)

  18. I would like to think JFK would be pulling out all the stops to get a good player in this week, and give them plenty of time to get settled in to pre season training.
But then maybe I am being greedy in not wanting to get left behind by most of the other teams that finished infront of us last season, as they all seem to be adding and strengthening.
Maybe I should just bury my head in the sand and convince myself everything will be alright 🙄 but then I am no good at kidding myself.

      (Quote)

  19. Aussie – it’s more what the press aren’t reporting! Bon Jovi? Pardew would play him at full back.

      (Quote)

  20. Georgio – I think I’ve figured it out mate. Not only does JFK have Wenger and Fergie on speed dial, he also has the Dalai Lama – and it’s he who he’s been to see for a bit of spiritual guidance throughout this window – along with maybe one or two words of wisdom for his next press confrence.
He of course thought he was going to see Derek Llambias but got the DLs mixed up.
Any who, old Lamaz said Joe, what’s wrong with you you daft ****** – it’s plain as day that that Bent kid is the answer to all Pardews problems – who by the way talks ***** and has **** poor tactics!. So, what I suggest you do is get ya fat **** back to the toon and get that fat plank Ashley to get his fucking cheque book out and buy the worlds greatest fans a couple of new players.
All it cost JFK for the advice was 4 bottles of Broon and the new Wonga toon top.

He’d have done it sooner but the WiFi connection in Tabet is **** poor.

  21. I just want to point out that this is post 250!!
Let’s not leave the next article for another 750 posts please people!!!! 👿

      (Quote)

  22. Georgio 😆 true but he would give defending a bad name
    Sorry, i’ll get my coat….. 😎

      (Quote)

  23. Benny and marv would still make good partners for Cis in a forward three, but really we’re very thin with only goof as cover for all three spots…Two strikers, I don’t care who we get just so long as they are decent. Norwich and Swansea are doing great business while we fanny about as usual.

      (Quote)

  24. Newkie , glad to see you have taken a break from nesting with your new sheila to join us on here mate 😉

      (Quote)

  25. Ice-what do you make of that deal? I would have liked us to pick up Hooper when we were in the CC but don’t think too much of him now.

Aussie-it’s too bloody hot over here for nesting, I want the wind and rain back already ffs 👿

You been keeping the Dave+ the neggers at bay I hope ❓

      (Quote)

  26. Newkie 🙂 I’ve been trying to mate but i am swimming against the tide…

      (Quote)

  27. Still nowt happening then 🙄 we must be getting someone really good for it to be taking this long 😉

      (Quote)

  28. Kim – I’ve just read it and it neatly sums up our situation. Very good piece of writing. Read it fans!

      (Quote)

  29. Kim – yeah they’ve nailed it havent they.
The part I agree with most is actually the getting the formation part right.
I really believe that had Pardew swallowed his pride sooner and adopted the 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 formation he would have had most of his players in there most effective positions – and perhaps we would have avoided a relegation battle.

I wish we had signed Bony though.

      (Quote)

  30. Sharpy ,yeah I agree ,they are spot on about utilising players to the best of their ability . We have some wonderfully technically gifted players forced to play the way of the Dinosaurs by a manager and coaches who don’t or can’t see how best to use them . Sadly no matter what formation we use it seems as though the emphasis is on defending even at home 🙄 .We also seem to rely too much on the hopefull punt up field in between our constant backs to the wall routine in the hope of a break away goal ,a snatch and grab if you will , great if it comes off ,but it rarely does . There is really not much point in getting flair players like we have been in if we don’t play to strengths ,we just as well get a team of spirited british plodders ,Parsnip and co would get the best out of them. I’m not looking forward to another season of inept performances that the manager will blame all and sundry for other than himself .Yes the players have to improve on last seasons shocker but they need good tactics to work with.

      (Quote)

  31. KIM@259 spot on with my thoughts 100%,been saying the same for a while, the place is a mess 🙁

      (Quote)

  32. Everyone else signs players and our big news for the day? Anita tells the press we are going to be a better team next season. Thanks Vurnon but we’re looking for a little more from this window than that. 👿

      (Quote)

  33. Read the article Kimtoon. Thanks for the link lass. It says it all really. Pardew has a big challenge ahead of him to answer the doubters questions. It won’t take us long to see if his tactics change.

      (Quote)

  34. G2 – I’d be looking for a little more from Anita next season as well to be honest mate. From the players we have available just now I reckon our strongest line up should look something like this:

    ——————- Krul —————–
    Debuchy – MYM – Colo – Santon
    ——- Cabaye ——- Anita ———
    —————- Sissoko —————
    —— Benny ———— Marv ——-
    —————– Cisse —————–

Maybe Tiote for Anita but that would be the formation I’d be looking at.
Going with that formation and looking at additions I think Remy in Bennys position, Scott Sinclair in Marvs position and dare I say Bent – or my preference Gomis or Ideye in Cisses place.
There after – do we have sufficient cover for Debuchy, Cabaye or Sissoko?
Perch gone, Gosling on his way and hopefully Obertan not far behind him. The chronicle reporting Shola may be on his way to Sheff Wed or Boro.
We have alot of work to do in my opinion.

      (Quote)

  35. Sharpy ,Like that line up and the alternative players but as you state are we really strong enough at the back ,we still have Saylor for CB like but who to cover for Debbie and I’m still not sure Santon is strong enough defensively so would like another quality LB in . Still think Santon is more of a winger tbh.

      (Quote)

  36. G2 with little going on i enjoyed reading your comments on the past players pity i could not have joined in y/day,needed sumit to cheer me up,got some good ones myself and helped to bring them back

      (Quote)

  37. Ice if the players are the same this season they might have a chance of an egg and spoon race 😆
you must have been pissed to miss the old player chat as Richie said you would have seen all the good players we’ve had 😉

      (Quote)

  38. DAVE you swine you know its monday and can say nowt about that good lad richie 👿 joking aside sometimes its good to remember the great players we had and some good times some on here have never seen them which is sad as we wont see them again with this set of clowns that run our club now, unless you like the circus like 😉

      (Quote)

  39. Ice while Jabba is running or ruinning the club I don’t think we have a hope in hell, unless you listen to some on here that would tell you everything is hunky dory

      (Quote)

  40. Well whatever happens it’s gonna be another emotional bloody rollercoaster with these lot in charge.

      (Quote)

  41. Here is one that won’t be coming then 🙄

@cwarr07: Forget Darren Bent, #NUFC have got their man, Loic Remy will soon be the incoming striker signing

@cwarr07: Nothing more to add, all that’s left are the formalities to finalise & a medical to take place #NUFC #Remy

      (Quote)

  42. 3HW well thats bent coming then hes just a **** heed and says owt, never been right with owt yet

      (Quote)

  43. Beats the hell out of me how we can sign a guy we may lose later on if found guilty ,but typical of us picking up crocks and guys with ‘ issues’ 🙄 . Not that Cwarr07 gets much right. 😉

      (Quote)

  44. I firmly believe that we will sign both Remy and Bent to be honest. Remy now to free some cash up for QPR and Bent alot later in the window, after Spurs sign Benteke for £25m and Villa spend that replacing him and Bent, then they will finally let him go for closer to the £5m we want to pay.

      (Quote)

  45. KIM i was also thinking this carry on with tiote being charged with fraud if hes found guilty maybe they could cancel his work permit or at least given a bit of jail time, ime not up on some points of law but it could happen imo,
    Batty would know better 😀

      (Quote)

  46. Got offered the chance to go to Motherwell tomorrow. The bloke was peeved when I turned it down. How many idiots are there?

      (Quote)

  47. Stu – nowt illegal mate but I’m smacked off my tits on piriton 😯 🙂
You shall see mate. I think Remy, Zoet and probably Rolando in the next couple of weeks, then Bent in the last week – maybe deadline day, unless Fulhams new money meets Villas £8m.
I reckon a surprise of Sinclair or someone similar in there as well mate.
OUT – Gosling, Willo, Shola and hopefully Obetan

      (Quote)

  48. SHARPY nowt wrong with hope mate after all thats all there is at the mo,know you feel too wor lass is just the same cannot take this high pollen count 🙁

      (Quote)

  49. Got a feeling our incomings will be Bent , Tomkins and Toivonen from PSV with Shola and Gosling the out goings , i reckon we are stuck with Obertan .

      (Quote)

  50. I think the sun and pollen is getting to lots of folk ,just wish it would effect Jabbas brain and make him open his fat wallet . 😉

      (Quote)

  51. Ice – aye I think it’s 80% hope 20% belief at the moment mate. Surely we can’t be as naive as we were last summer is what I keep telling myself, but every morning I pick the paper up and nowts doing I think actually, maybe they could 🙄

This whether has been great having the boy and pup in the garden in the paddling pool, hilarious watching them – but I just look like I’ve been pepper sprayed all the time man 😥

      (Quote)

  52. @Big Dave

Don’t let the dreamers get to you fella. 😉

Once they pull their heads out the sand, smell the coffee and Ashley’s baseball bat has smacked them square in the face, they will realise the neggers are realists and are many steps ahead of them. 😛

I find it comical listening to their banter. Even Butterfly Mark doesn’t really believe what he writes. He describes it as blind faith. 😯 wow 😯 Blind faith 😯

I used to have blind faith in Santa Claus til I reached 7 years old and then I heard someone in the playground say he wasn’t real.

Shall we spoil Marks, Aussies & Begas’ blind faith and tell them the truth? 😯

Ashley has no ambition! He doesn’t want us to reach Europe. It would cost him a fortune.

He is happy to float in mid table. Face reality boys. 😛

      (Quote)

  53. TROY stop building jabba up!mid table!!! you think that much that would be a top season to him after all there is only 50 odd thousand to pull the wool over their eyes he would be happy just to stay in the PL,he wont want to try that europe carry on again it made him spend money in jan to save his money bank afloat

      (Quote)

  54. Troy they will never get me down lad, they can keep up with their wee sly digs etc at me and other so called neggars as we have been proved right in the past and IMO will be right again. but others seem to try to kid themselves that alls rosey in the Toon garden and we will be signing this player and that player, and then when we dont its nowt to do with the regime its all down to the greedy players and agents etc.
Ice your spot on but I think Aussie would disagree with you 😆

      (Quote)

  55. Well its just come up on Newsnow Pardew has brought in a new fitness guru Faye Downey see worked with the England rugby team

      (Quote)

  56. At least the ownership have taken note that we needed extra staff (thank ****) don’t really know anything about her but it seems a good CV. Can we have a couple more coaches though…and some players? Ta Mike.

      (Quote)

  57. Troy, you have got me on this one mate. Ashley does only want us mid table 👿
****, i thought he would of been happy with us playing in Europe because of the extra exposure for SD. Obviously not 😕 The occasional game on UK tv is obviously more than enough for him, those extra European games being shown around the globe will have no added benefit to him.. ashley oot 😈

      (Quote)

  58. Wow. I haven’t seen this much negativity on the blog since the summer before we finished 5th. 😆

      (Quote)

  59. MDS  true mate… and you will notice that a lot of folk have totally wiped the last transfer window from their minds as well and are choosing to focus on the poor one we had 12 months ago. 😆 but hey, maybe I just dreamed it 😆 😆 😆

      (Quote)

  60. Aussie, I’m pretty sure january windows only count when the club sells players, not when it adds 4 first teamers.

      (Quote)

  61. Oz: mid-table? Nah. If he has us in a relegation fight every year he gets more exposure, and it’ll be cheaper.

But to be serious for a moment … 😯

When Mark accepts that his hope is part of blind faith he is acknowledging the reality of his condition. Surely we should applaud his honesty not laugh at it. Anybody who has the mental faculty to understand and admit where their views are coming from has my admiration.

The neggar view of constantly seeing demons at every turn, and thinking they are real, is a recipe for madness. I for one would prefer to live a life of hope than to live in a negative feedback loop.

Although I prefer the more existentialist take-things-as-they-come mode. At least that way I get to assess things on their merits and not on some pre-conceived whim.
