Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas
I just thought I’d write this say a brief Merry Christmas to you all. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

It’s been a challenging year for me and sometimes that has shown when I’ve perhaps not been around as much as I have been in the past. However juggling life, this, family, work is hard but I still want you to know that you are all appreciated.

What I’d like you all to do is enjoy the day with your friends and family, or if that isn’t to your fancy just enjoy the time off to chill and do whatever you want. It’s not often the world slows down but, just for one day, at this time of year, it does and you can spend dome time doing what is really important.

On a personal note this is my first Christmas at home with my Son who now has his own Newcastle kit and shouts “goal” whenever we score! I was working away on the continent last year so missed his first Christmas and will be making the most of this one with him.

So relax, unwind, drink, be merry and enjoy this time. Remember it’s back to normal tomorrow and the football will once again take centre-stage. Incidentally, and a shameless plug, you can catch all the action and reaction here on NUFC blog.

For now though, Merry Christmas to you all!

Hopefully a nice boxing day win against the Harry Potters and lets just hope the team keep playing well – one game at a time and see where we end up. Fingers crossed.

  5. Jees Toonsy, I thought you said brief!

😉 This is my first Christmas with my boy too. I only get to see him an hour but going to make it count. Then in April he finally starts coming to me for his visits.

By the time I managed to get him his first Toon kit he was too big for it. But it’ll go well in a frame in the pub one day.

Happy holidays. Let’s hope we beat Arsenal. Would love that. Can rub it in my best mates face.

  6. JJ – Get his name and No1 on the back, stitch up sleeves/neck and fill it with padding before stitching the bottom turning it into a cushion 😉
