How much do you want the three points?

Yeah, yeah, I know. The potential sacking of Alan Pardew has certainly dominated discussions of late but I thought I would throw a few hypothetical questions out to you all on the eve of our game against Hull.

Is he worth it?
Is he worth it?

Without a win this season, we are currently sitting at the foot of the table and we are desperately in need of a win to boost morale and secure a much needed three points. On any other occasion, the three points on offer would be first and foremost in importance in nearly every fans minds. However as all things anti Alan Pardew have transpired of late, would the three points be a good thing this weekend? Would we be better off, losing this game with the hope that it brings an end to Pardews tenure as our manager? Of course there are no guarantees that Pardew will be fired come Monday after a loss. But what if it does bring an end to his reign, would it all be worth the three points on offer tomorrow?

Let me know what you think!

  1. Talk of leaving Willo out of the lineup is nothing short of mutiny! We’ll have none of that Sharpy. Next you’ll be demanding to play attacking football at home. Unbelievable. Harrumph!!!

  2. Sharpy

Saylor, but for no other reason that Williamson has played in a side that has conceded three of four on too many ocassions.
If I was given a task by my boss and cocked it up twice my boss would give somebody else the job. Ain’t rocket science

  3. That’s shockingly naughty of you Toby mate. How would Alan face Willo after the game? How would he deal with the tears and hysteria? And that’s just from Carver. No, it just can’t be allowed to happen mate. We’re on a roll now and you’re trying to rock the boat. I feel an unchanged lineup from the Southampton game coming on.

  4. Toby – I wouldn’t disagree, but I feel the same about Colo at the moment. He’s been so poor this season it’s scary. I know it’s early days for him, but at the moment I’d consider Satka in at the back. The kid can’t be any worse at the moment.

  5. Sharpy

Thought Satka looked comfortable in the friendlies and in all honesty can’t be any worse than Colo and Willo.

  6. Stu – I’ll be keeping an eye out for the Sports Dire Wrecked banners mate. Think that’s a great idea and really hope MOTD pick up on any out there.

  7. Have I mentioned that I really don’t like Alan Pardew? Well….I don’t. There, I’ve said it. And I’m not taking it back. As far as I’m concerned his mother is a goat.

      (Quote)

  8. And another thing. I don’t like Mike Ashley. His mother may not be a goat but he has been very nasty to us. And he’s got budgie breath as well. Disgusting that is.

  9. I know, I know. I’m being unusually harsh tonight but still. I don’t like Mike or Alan. There it is. Make of it what you will. No riding the fence for me. No tripping the light fantastic. I just come out with the brutal truth.

  10. Good read kim 😉

I hope once Pardews gone the fans can start boycotting to hit Ashley in the pocket.

expect a draw or a defeat but would obviously love a win, can’t see it happening if we start with 1 up front/

  11. Unusually for the Daily Fail that was a good piece.
That Fat Ash is the root of all the problems is beyond doubt.
Pardew is the target because he is complicit in our downfall.
If we were getting the results on the pitch, or at least putting in a spirited performance, it would be different.
I have maintained for years now, the only way to hurt Mash is to totally boycott the stadium. We have no other way to get at the bastid. But it seems this is a step too far for most, and will never happen.
Pardew being the puppet he is deserves everything coming his way.
He is the only outlet for the frustration of the fans.
You can’t blame the fans for that.
We are not to blame for the diabolical, shambolic performances on the pitch. But I would fully expect some anti Ashley stuff too. eg FCB song.
Plus I like the S***** D***** .com link in the Sack Pardew banners.
Unfortunately in the end, we are becoming an even bigger joke of a club aswell as a laughing stock for other fans.
It would seem we are doing a Blackburn. 😥 👿

  12. I’ve noticed the national press seem to be saying it’s all a bit unfair and personal against Pardew. Well I have one thing to say to them; He could just resign and that would be the end of it. His record over the last 12 months has been too poor.

Looking forward to the game actually. Going to have a few drinks and I think it will be a good atmosphere in between the anti pardew stuff.

  13. Stuart good to see you are actually trying to enjoy yourself. It will seem a little strange at first but I think you may like it! 😆

  14. Pards has already come out and said we can’t concede goal so therefore his tactics will be same as usual – defensive football and hope someone can manage to show a bit of brilliance and score a goal for us

Willo on back post then, hey its worked once!

  15. There’s also a though lt in the national media that Ashley is the real problem, which is clear as day.

Without doubt removing Pardew will give everyone a short term boost but there is a feeling of rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic about it.

  16. Pardew:- “I think the worst scenario would be still protesting when we’re winning – that would be unwelcome and puts the win in jeopardy.”
“hopefully we take the lead and we can see the game out.”

    Hmmmmmmm!

  17. Pardew should just shut the fuk up… the guy dribbles more **** than Troy.. and that is saying something! 😛

  18. Pards says he’ll, ” take one for the team ” 😕 not worked out it’s him and Jabba not them we’re pissed with .

      (Quote)

  19. So Cisse is back?~ I hope isn’t Pardew rushing him to save his own job! 👿

I wonder will Pardew even attempt to play 2 striker up front today. 😐

  20. Bloody steaming I am . Skys David Craig has spoken to Ashley today and he has told him no matter what the result today he will keep patience with the situation !!!!!, Idiot, head in sand idiot.

  22. Is pardew strong belief that this would still work?

#NUFC v @HullCity (4-2-3-1): Krul; Janmaat, Coloccini (c), Williamson, Dummett; Tiote, Colback; Cabella, Sissoko, Gouffran; Riviere. #NEWHUL

    I admire his “determination”…. 👿

  23. Kim – it’s about money for Ashley, nothing else. He does not want to pay Pardew the compo.

The only way we can move this club forward is by supporters staying away. It’s as simple as that!

Also I doubt there’ll be many changes today if any. Our squad is weak as ****

  24. The FOOL just doesn’t get it.
Yet again he persists with a lone striker in the hope that we can pinch a goal and see the game out!
This bloke is an absolute cretin and does not have a clue.
    He MUST go

      (Quote)

  25. Kim – he’s a complete and utter bell end. His obstinance will be our undoing. Daft ***** just stuck two fingers up at the fans and the city yet again.Thinks because we have no more home games for a month the pressure will ease and business as usual. I just despair.

      (Quote)

  26. Stuart 79 I agree with you. Wish our fans would wake up to that fact. I’ve been in exile since the latter half of last season but it makes no difference. If Pardew isnt ousted shortly hope the sack pardew.com lot who have done a brilliant job, turn their considerable talents to Ashley. Fear there are too many who just go out of habit for a few drinks with their mates and the match is secondary.

      (Quote)

  27. Deb, I was just going to say turn it on Ashley, same signs but Ashley as well as Pards . He’ll not want the bad publicity, do it at every away match and boycott the home games. We’ll see how his patience is then .

      (Quote)

  28. Why bench Haidara? I thought he was one of the few bright spots last game.

      (Quote)

  29. Re comment from Ashley, wonder if he is sending a message to Pardew that if he doesn’t want to face this kind of abuse every week Pardew needs to resign as he wont scak him. Who blinks first eh. Lets see what stones Pardew has today.

  30. Apparently banners being confiscated by stewards despite written evidence from club to say they would be allowed. What happened to free bloody speech? Basta*ds

  31. This is BORING!!!!. If this is a statement of intent by Pardew and the players I can’t say impressed. They aren’t really taking the game to Hull are they?!.

      (Quote)

  32. So many of our supporters get what they deserve. Why is he being allowed to strut around his technical area. The apathy amongst so may of our fans is truly amazing. Happy to sit there like little sheep. Have they forgotten we are bottom??

  33. Only Rivière in the box again!. This is ridiculous that we are at home and are again playing one up front.
He’s only changed the left back. He’s trying NOTHING differently offensively at all. There is absolutely nothing to get excited about here at all!!.
It’s not that we can score it’s that we don’t feckin want to score!!. Nee one getting in the box to help Rivière out! – feel so sorry for the kid.
