  1. Rafalution has started youth and under 21s have been moved out of the first team training area and have to earn the right to train there he’s also going to have matches between the to see who is progressing and who is not,imo Rafa is starting at grass routes where it should have been years ago

  2. Well I can see France and Switzerland playing it safe for a draw tonight to see them through in top 2. However, can see Romania V Albania being a humdinger because Albania simply have to win to have any chance of progressing. So think I’ll be watching that game at first at least and see how it goes.

  3. I don’t see the big deal about Pogba. He is good but usually doesn’t finish what he starts.

  4. Stewart Robson is saying Pogba is the best European midfielder. Has he ever watched Iniesta???

  5. Well Albania have had several very good chances in the last few minutes and blown the lot. D’oh!

  6. Cheers Kim. Think I’ll stay with this game 2nd half as Romania have no choice but to go for the goal now.

  7. I’m tempted to switch games but knowing my luck this game will ignite if I swap games 🙄

  8. Sham, just watching the highlights, looks a good game, great goal but they missed a sitter too.

  9. Yeah they did Kim. Albania are dirty buggers though. Should be down to 9 men really.

Pogba looks very unlucky not to have netted today.

  10. I hope FJ and AMF are watching the France game as it will back up what they have said. Paint drying is the main competition for this game.

It might be because if they draw they both go through? Good from Payet though.

  11. Yeah that’s what I called earlier Eric. Hence why I’m watching the Albania game. Plenty of chances and Albania now very close to securing a famous victory.

  12. Well having waited all day for a game, it was a damp squib for me. Wish I had watched Albania now.

  13. The players are so well organised and athletic these days then it is so easy to cancel each other out and invariably the game ends in a damp squib. Funny to watch Pogba jockeying between 3 opponents in the centre of midfield with no sign of Cabaye nor the legendary Champions League star in the waiting Sissoko.
My money is on Spain, Germany or Italy, Switzerland look like a tough nut to crack and Belgium are beginning to warm to the occasion. France as host nation are dangerous, and will also be amongst the favourites.
England’s midfield is too lightweight and will be dominated by any of the above-mentioned midfields which will in turn put pressure on our shaky central defence and hitherto reliable goalie Joe Hart.

  14. My prediction all along was quarter finals as England had an easy group. As usual, England will go out to the first good team they play. I hope I am wrong because there is some good young talent there that could do with a bit more experience before the next World Cup. Has Mr. Roy ever won anything?

  15. I looked up Hodgson’s record and he won titles in Scandinavia. However, he has been pretty mediocre everywhere else. I am not sure what the FA saw that made them think he could win anything for England.

He always comes across as a mid level civil servant with a bad temper to me.

Eric – it was Woy, Fat Sam or Pardew mate … Say no more 😆

  17. So apparently Mr Woy will drop 6 players tonight including Rooney. Isn’t the object to finish top of the group to avoid stiffer opposition in the next game? Finish top and we likely avoid France, Germany and Spain. Seems a daft move to me to drop 6

  18. Also our group is very close we really need to win tonight. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that we could get beat and Wales beat Russia who are cack. that would finish the group
    either Wales
    Slovakia
    England
    Russia
    or
    Slovakia
    Wales
    England
    Russia
    Depending on goals scored.
Woy must be very confident of the win

  19. Today’s the day, heard a rumour that Hendo will be starting for England.

What’s your starting line up for tonight, drop Kane or give him another chance?

  20. SHAM Siko made one lung busting run but imo the rest of the time he was the normal Siko did very little to produce any good forward passes but if it helps to get more money for him all the better, looks like Thauvin is going to have another yrs loan at OM with view to buy

  21. I am glad Roy is making changes. We need to keep the players fresh for the knock out stage and it’s not as if he’s bringing in a load of bums is it? Clyne and Bertand were some peoples starters before the tournament starts, Sturridge and Vardy deserve their chance and Wiltshire and Henderson played a lot of game sin qualifying so not so much of a gamble in my view.

  22. We’ll soon see if it’s a gamble or not, Slovakia are desperate to beat us, should be an interesting game.

Ice, yep the commentators were drolling over that one run, but he produces little at the end that’s the trouble.

  24. Andy, I think Kane is knackered, I do like him though, but he’s played so much football and he looks spent and low on confidence. He has carried spurs and now has gone into this tournament with so much on his shoulders and yet again too much hype as our media always seem to do. Vardy doesn’t seem to get fazed by anything, I would start him and if we are winning bring Kane on later so he doesn’t have so much pressure to score.

  25. Andy the Magpie: Mr. Roy has announced his team so there is no need to speculate. See Stuart’s post above for the players coming in. I hope Wilshere has a good game in case Rooney has one of his stinkers in the next game so we have an alternative.

KIM fish tanks sorted mate? hope so

Ice yeah got a smaller one but in the process of rehoming 2 garra rufa fish who have got too big now. My mate reckons I should put them in a pond as they are part of tench family and grow much bigger than the fish store told me. Fab peaceful fish but way too big now.

  27. Yeah, I was out of the loop regarding the team, a lot of changes it seems.
