Liverpool fans have been left very impressed with Moussa Sissoko’s performance during France 2-0 European Championship semi finals victory over Germany.
France claimed a fine 2-0 victory over Germany in the semi finals of the European Championships and one of the star players for Les Bleus on the night was Newcastle United star Moussa Sissoko.
Sissoko produced a powerful performance down the right hand side for France and his contribution was most certainly crucial in helping the hosts seal their place in the final of the competition.
Given the fact that Sissoko has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, it was no surprise to see a number of the Reds’ faithful closely following the 26-year-old’s performance and they were certainly left very impressed by what they saw.
Following the game, the Liverpool fans posted on Twitter,
That Sissoko las for France looks decent. Liverpool should take a look at him.

Impressed with Moussa Sissoko’s performances for France. With Lucas Leiva on the way #LFC could do with another CM ?

Sissoko plays like black, French James Milner. Milner is a great player for us. Hence, Sissoko would be a nice addition. #LFC

Is Moussa Sissoko is properly motivated he’s a great player! Has bags of talent, just another player who lacks the mentality! #LFC

However, the Newcastle United fans were not as impressed as Liverpool supporters with Sissoko and they also took to Twitter to express their views.
In my 10 yrs as an #NUFC fan Moussa Sissoko is the worst player I have seen and that’s incredible considering the list he’s up against.

Moussa Sissoko was excellent for #FRA last night, shame he can’t do that on a weekly basis. Where’s he off to this summer? #NUFC

‘Police have confirmed that Moussa Sissoko, who disappeared from Newcastle in August 2015, was found in Marseille last night’ #NUFC #Sissoko

I highly doubt that the coaching and scouting staff at LFC will look at him purely on the performance in the Euros. Having played in the PL previously, that’s the factor that’s going to weigh than the odd performance in the Euros.
