Upon the confirmation of the move, Hayden expressed his ambitions of guiding Newcastle back into the Premier League during the upcoming campaign.

“Being at Arsenal was a great experience, I learnt a lot there and have a lot to thank them for, but I needed to move on and so when Newcastle came in for me I jumped at the chance.
“I am still young but I want to get as many games under my belt as I can and help the team bounce back to the Premier League.”
Hayden is an extremely talented young player who made his debut for the Arsenal first team back in 2013 as a teenager.
The versatile defender spent time on loan at Hull City last term and although not a regular starter, he played a crucial role in the Tigers’ promotion into the Premier League.
Now Hayden will be hopeful of fulfilling his immense potential at Newcastle and under the tutelage of Rafael Benitez, there is every possibility that the youngster will develop into a top class player.
