Star begging Newcastle United to grant his wish

Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum is begging Newcastle United not to put up an unrealistic asking price for him, according to reports from the Daily Mirror

It has been clear for quite a while that Georginio Wijnaldum is keen on making a move away from Newcastle United this summer and a number of top clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Roma and Everton have all gone on to express their interest in the Dutch international.

While Newcastle look unlikely to be able to stop Wijnaldum from wanting to leave this summer, the Magpies are certainly not looking to make things easy for the 25-year-old and have reportedly slapped a whopping £30 million asking price on him, in an attempt to stave off suitors.

Wijnaldum, who is believed to be keen on a move to Tottenham, is understandably not too pleased regarding this fact and now according to reports from the Daily Mirror, the midfielder has urged Newcastle not to price him out of a dream move to White Hart Lane.

Tottenham are believed to be losing patience with Newcastle’s stance on Wijnaldum and the Premier League outfit could soon withdraw their pursuit for the 25-year-old by looking at other alternatives.
