Everton intent on entering agreement for Newcastle United’s £27 million-rated star

Wijnaldum

Premier League outfit Everton have made it a priority to secure the services of Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum this summer, according to reports from Sky Sports.

Following the takeover of billionaire Farhad Moshiri and the appointment of the highly reputed Ronald Koeman as manager, the levels of expectations at Everton have gone through the roof this summer.

Everton are planning to break into the top four during the upcoming campaign and as a result, are targeting high profile players such as Axel Witsel, Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Sneijder among others.

Another name who has been consistently linked with a move to Everton has been Georginio Wijnaldum. Wijnaldum is believed to be keen on leaving Newcastle following their relegation into the Championship and Koeman wants to reunite with the former Feyenoord star at Goodison Park.

Now according to reports from Sky Sports, revelations can be made that Everton have listed signing Wijnaldum as one of their main priorities this summer and a bid in excess of £25 million could see the Toffees land the Dutch international.
