Newcastle United reportedly seeking to offload striker

According to reports from the Shields Gazette, Newcastle are planning to offload Haris Vuckic before the end of the summer transfer window.

Vuckic joined Newcastle United from Domzale in January 2009 and at the time, the attacker was considered as one of the most promising young talents in Europe.

Despite his undoubted quality though, Vuckic has not been able to establish himself as a regular for the Magpies and the attacking midfielder has instead spent time on loan at the likes of Cardiff City, Rotherham United, Rangers and Wigan Athletic over the past few seasons.

Ahead of the upcoming Championship campaign, the 23-year-old revealed that he does not feature in manager Rafael Benitez’s plans but insisted that he is willing to fight for his place in the side.

However, it seems like Newcastle want to get rid of Vuckic and now according to reports from the Shields Gazette, claims have been made that the attacker has been made available on loan by the Magpies once again.
