Premier League attacker snubs Newcastle United

Stoke City striker Joselu has rejected the advances of Newcastle United, according to reports from the Telegraph (via HITC).

Stoke are currently pursuing the services of Saido Berahino and Wilfried Bony, and the Potters chasing such high profile names has put the future of striker Joselu at the Britannia Stadium in doubt.

It is believed that Stoke are now ready to offload Joselu this summer and a number of clubs have reportedly expressed an interest in signing the striker.

Now according to reports from the Telegraph (via HITC), Championship outfit Newcastle United recently expressed an interest in signing Joselu this summer but the striker has decided against joining the Magpies.

Newcastle have already spent big money to sign new strikers Dwight Gayle and Daryl Murphy this summer but manager Rafael Benitez still seems to be in the market to bring in another attacking player, with the likes of Callum McManaman and Lazar Markovic recently being mentioned as targets.
