Asoro was signed by Sunderland from IF Brommapojkarna at the start of last season and the striker is now considered as one of the most exciting young talents around European football due to his exploits for the Swedish Under-17 team.

Asoro has managed to break into the first team at Sunderland this season and the 17-year-old is most certainly very highly rated by manager David Moyes.

Given Asoro’s growing reputation, it has been no surprise to see a host of clubs expressing their interest in the teenage sensation and the likes of Arsenal, Paris-Saint Germain and Bayern Munich among others are all believed to be keen.

Now in shock reports from Swedish outlet Expressen, claims have been made that Asoro is also being courted by Sunderland’s fierce rivals Newcastle United.
