Championship outfit Newcastle United are looking to make a swoop for Christian Atsu on a permanent basis, according to reports from Ghana Web.
Despite his struggles for Everton and Bournemouth in recent seasons, Newcastle United decided to make a surprise swoop for Christian Atsu from Chelsea on a year-long loan basis and it has to be said that the attacker has proven to be a useful addition to the Magpies’ side.
While Atsu has not been able to forge a place as a regular starter for Newcastle as of yet, the Ghanaian international has impressed whenever he has been given a chance and he has particularly been very good in the EFL Cup.
Manager Rafael Benitez has repeatedly praised Atsu over the past few weeks and it is clear to see that the Spaniard rates the 24-year-old very highly.
Now according to reports emerging out of Ghana Web, revelations can be made that Newcastle have already been convinced by Atsu’s abilities and are now ready to make a move for the winger on a permanent basis in the foreseeable future.
