Newcastle Star On Mitro’s Passion
As quoted by The Chronicle, Newcastle star Karl Darlow has spoken out about the passion of teammate Aleksandar Mitrovic.
“He definitely does gee us all up,” said Darlow. “He’s come into the team against Preston in the cup and scored two there, then another two against the same team at Deepdale to win us the game.”
The case, as always with Mitrovic, is that his passion is not in doubt. What could be brought into question is the way in which he chooses to use that passion.
Here’s hoping the Serbian ace continues to channel his aggression into positive performances and above all, goals, so that the song that has helped his popularity amongst fans can continue to be heard for many seasons to come.
To have a player like ‘Mitro’, as he is affectionately referred to by the crowd, is a rare thing. He is a player that clearly loves the club and loves playing here, so even if, from time to time, his passion bubbles over, it is better than him not being passionate about the club we love.
