As reported by The Sun, Newcastle United are set to do battle with Italian giants Juventus and AS Roma, over an exciting young prospect from the Italian Serie B.
The player in question is a young fullback, who plays for Virtus Entella and Mali, named Cheick Keita.
It is reported that Keita has been outstanding for Virtus Entella this season, which is why he has attracted the interest of so many clubs.
Newcastle, Juventus and Roma are not the only three clubs that are interested in Keita, with Bolton Wanderers, Crystal Palace, Angers and Le Havre also rumoured to be interested.
The former Monaco fullback has had a superb breakthrough season, after establishing himself as first team professional this season, at Virtus Entella, at only twenty years of age.
Rafa Benitez could be interested in Keita because of the amount of injuries that Jesus Gamez has received so far this season.
