Former NUFC Hero Talks Of The ‘Experience’ That His Side Will Give Current Newcastle Youngsters

As reported by the Chronicle, Newcastle legend Lee Clark has spoken about the three youngsters that he took on loan from the club, earlier this window.

Clark, who is currently managing SPL side Kilmarnock, loaned Freddie Woodman, Sean Longstaff and Cal Roberts from Newcastle.

He has spoken about the experience that they will get from joining his side, saying: “That’s why I thought it was beneficial for the three young players to come to us to experience Celtic at Parkhead and play in front of over 60,000 and when Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen come to us.”

“Hopefully if we can have a good second half of the season and get into the top six when the league splits they’ll have the opportunity to go to Ibrox and Pittodrie to experience big crowds where it can be intimidating.”

“If the three lads have got any future at Newcastle they have to be able to handle playing in front of big crowds, because that what they are going to be involved in week in, week out.”
