Newcastle’s Goalkeeping Coach Wants Darlow To Emulate Premier League Legend

As reported by the Chronicle, Newcastle Goalkeeping coach Simon Smith has told Karl Darlow to forget his mistake against Norwich on Tuesday, referencing Premier League legend Edwin Van Der Sar.

Following Darlow’s mistake, Smith tweeted, from his official Twitter account:  “To be a top class goalkeeper you need real ‘mental strength’ to put any error behind you and play as if it hadn’t happened!

“Sounds easy but you are dealing with your own emotions, your teammates, the crowd, the game and what happens to you next, in the game and when!”

“Edwin van der Sar had a way of dealing with it! Put it in your pocket, zip it up and forget about it until the game had finished.”

If Darlow wants to make it to the very top of the game, and he definitely has the potential do so, emulating Van Der Sar, who is arguably the best goalkeeper to play in the Premier League, could only help him.

  1. Each and every season check the exterior condenser product of your Heating and air conditioning system. Take away any unwanted weeds and leaves that can be obstructing air flow on the device. Garden hose over inside and outside in the item to take out any grime build up. Cover up the motor unit with plastic material handbags prior to rinsing the unit to ensure you will not grab it drenched.
