After making moves to sign him in January, Newcastle are set to reignite their interest in Gabriel Pires following the midfielders impressive displays in Spain.
Rafa Benitez is looking to build a squad capable of competing in the Premier League next season and according to Spanish source MARCA, the La Liga midfielder is one of his summer targets.

Newcastle were keen on signing Gabriel in January, with reports at the time suggesting Benitez was looking at a 6-month loan deal with an option to buy.
Despite being tipped for the top as a Juventus youngster, the midfielder is not one many will be familiar with. After an impressive season in La Liga, however, Gabriel may just represent the sort of hidden gem Benitez will look to unearth this summer.
