BREAKING: Newcastle United’s fixtures announced for the 2017/18 Premier League season

The fixtures for the 2017/18 Premier League season have been announced this morning, with Newcastle United set to open their campaign against Tottenham Hotspur at St. James’ Park!

The game could well be moved for TV, so could move to Sunday 13th August, however I believe a big game at home could be the ideal way to kick off our season back in the top flight.

Following Tottenham on the opening day of the season, we then face an away trip to newly promoted Huddersfield (19th August), with the visit of West Ham arriving on the 26th August.

Here are Newcastle United’s fixtures for the 2017/18 Premier League season in full:

Aside from the tough opening game of the season at home to Spurs, it is a very generous run of opening fixtures, making it all the more important for us to hit the ground running against the likes of Huddersfield, West Ham, Swansea, Stoke, and Brighton – more incentive for Rafa to get his business done early to gain a settled squad come August?

Newcastle’s festive fixtures will see back to back home games against Manchester City (Boxing Day) & Brighton (30th December), followed by an away trip to to Stoke (1st January).

Newcastle will then finish the season at home to 2016/17 Champions Chelsea.

*Dates are subject to change for TV scheduling, so don’t go booking your trains or planes just yet folks!
