Karl Darlow is being considered for a shock England call up according to The Guardian, yet could be one of several goalkeepers set to be axed by Newcastle United this summer.
The Guardian’s Daniel Taylor reports that Darlow is being ‘kept in mind’ for future England squads, however his future on Tyneside appears to be uncertain.

The 26-year-old stopper was Rafa’s no.1 for the majority of our promotion winning season, making 34 appearances in the side, however The Chronicle have suggested that Darlow could be sold if another goalkeeper arrives.
To many fans surprise, it has been well documented over recent weeks that Rafa is looking to bring in another goalkeeper this summer, with the Spaniard pushing for a reunion with Napoli’s Pepe Reina.
Darlow could therefore join Tim Krul and Matz Sels out the exit door this summer, with Benitez believed to be keen on keeping Rob Elliot and Freddie Woodman as competition for any potential new arrival.
