Sky Sports reported earlier this afternoon that Newcastle had reached an agreement to sign Florian Lejeune and it has now been announced that the Frenchman is on Tyneside completing his NUFC medical as we speak.
Newcastle finally struck a deal over the weekend according to Sky Sports, with an agreement being made over the structure of payments for Lejeune’s £8.7m signing.
According to several sources, Lejeune arrived on Tyneside earlier today and is believed to be undergoing the necessary formalities to complete his move to Newcastle, with the Frenchman currently understood to be completing his medical.

Finally some good news for us all and most importantly Rafa Benitez, who will be relieved to have Lejeune on Tyneside after pushing hard to add a new centre-back to his ranks this summer.
