- NUFC have had a £12.5m bid accepted for Norwich winger Jacob Murphy – he is set to complete his medical in Ireland tomorrow.
- Rafa Benitez has resurrected his interest in Sheyi Ojo and is hoping to sign the Liverpool winger on loan after announcing the arrival of Murphy (Chronicle)
- Adam Armstrong has completed a six-loan move to recently promoted Championship side Bolton Wanderers.
- Yoan Gouffran has rejected Newcastle’s contract offer and has today signed with Turkish league side Goztepe on a two-year deal.

- Newcastle United have revealed their new away kit for the 2017/18 Premier League season – however it is receiving mixed reviews.
- Siem De Jong’s agent has admitted that the Dutchman is determined to become a success at Newcastle United and, despite having ‘other options’ on the table, will aim to take the big chance handed to him by Rafa Benitez over pre-season.
- A 27-man Newcastle United squad has arrived in Ireland for a week-long training camp at Carton House, however there are some noteworthy absentees, with Rafa Benitez leaving behind Tim Krul, Chancel Mbemba, Achraf Lazaar, Adam Armstrong, and Emmanuel Riviere.
