With just 2 days to go until Newcastle’s opening game of the season against Spurs, we’ve been assessing the opposition and it appears Mauricio Pochettino’s injury hit side could involve a few surprise inclusions on Sunday.
With Son, Wanyama and Trippier doubtful and Rose and Lamela unable to recover in time, Tottenham based Journalist Jamie Stinton has revealed the starting 11 he expects Spurs to field:

With Kyle Walker having been sold to Manchester City and Kieran Trippier injured in their final match of pre-season, the much maligned Moussa Sissoko could be in line to fill in at right-wing back in an unlikely return to St. James’ Park for the £30m flop.
Elsewhere, it is interesting to see that 21-year old prospect Harry Winks is expected to fill in for Victor Wanyama, in an otherwise strong team for the visitors.
Whilst it is a boost to our chances seeing Spurs without 4 first team players (Son, Wanyama, Trippier and Rose), there is little doubting the quality they possess, with you only having to look at their star studded attacking trio to realise the kind of threat we are up against on Sunday.
