18th – Brighton
Chris Hughton’s side were functional and efficient last season however, despite breaking their transfer record on several occasions this summer, I don’t think they’ll have enough to survive this season. Anthony Knockaert is an excellent player and one fully capable of making the step up, but I have my doubts as to whether several of that squad are up to the demands of top flight football. Unless Brighton can make their stomping ground a fortress once again – like Burnley did last season – I see them going down.
