Some breaking news to bring you this morning as it has been confirmed that Stoke striker Joselu is heading to the North-East today to undergo his medical and move to Newcastle United.
It was suggested last night by Guillem Balague that a £5m deal was ‘close’ and today by Miles Starforth from the Shields Gazette that he is now due on Tyneside to complete his move.

Joselu is likely to be seen as a replacement for Daryl Murphy, arriving as a 6ft 3′ forward whose hit form over pre-season with 4 goals in 2 games for Stoke.
The former Spain U-21 forward has been handed just 10 starts by Mark Hughes during his time at Stoje, scoring 4 goals in the process. He spent last season on loan in La Liga with Deportivo La Coruna, netting 6 times in 22 appearances.
