According to reports from the Daily Telegraph, Newcastle United are currently weighing up a swoop for Polish international defender Michal Pazdan.
It is blatantly clear to see that Newcastle United’s squad is very thin at the moment and the injuries suffered by Florian Lejeune and Paul Dummett as well as the idiotic red card received by Jonjo Shelvey during the Magpies’ 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday certainly has not helped matters.
Therefore, manager Rafael Benitez is currently desperate to bring in reinforcements to St. James’ Park as soon as possible and Joselu is expected to be unveiled as a Newcastle United player within the next few hours.
Due to the injuries to Lejeune and Dummett, signing a new defender will also be high on the priority list for Benitez and now according to reports from the Daily Telegraph, it has been claimed that Newcastle are currently assessing a swoop for Michal Pazdan.
Pazdan is an experienced Polish international defender who currently plies his trade for Legia Warsaw and it has been claimed that Newcastle are plotting a £3million swoop for the 29-year-old in order to beef up their backline.
