According to reports from the Sun, the likes of Leicester City and Brighton have expressed an interest in acquiring the services of Newcastle United winger Yasin Ben El-Mhanni.
Newcastle United snapped up the very skillful Yasin Ben El-Mhanni from non-league football last summer and the youngster, who has acted as a body double and skill consultant to Neymar as well as Cristiano Ronaldo, even managed to make two FA Cup appearances for the Magpies.
El-Mhanni is clearly an extremely talented young player but the 21-year-old’s long term future at Newcastle United has been put into doubt recently as he has not yet agreed to a new contract with the Magpies despite having only one year left on his current deal.
Due to the standoff, a number of clubs are monitoring the situation surrounding El-Mhanni and according to reports from the Sun, the Premier League duo of Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion have expressed an interest in signing the winger while Italian side Napoli are also said to be keen.
Having lost a quality young player in Lewis Gibson to Everton earlier on in the summer, the departure of El-Mhanni will surely prove to be another blow for Newcastle as he is an attacker with immense promise and it will be interesting to see if the young man decides to stay put or moves elsewhere in the coming days.
